What do I need to setup a Reach?

You can create a Reach account with either your email or mobile phone number. Either method, we will send you a 6 digit code to validate your account. Any time you login, we will send you a 6 digit code.

How does Reach billing work?

Have you ever looked at a phone bill? Yuck.  We’ve made Reach pricing simple and transparent.

  • Each Reach account is $10 USD per month.  
  • There are no long term contracts
  • If you cancel during your billing period, you can use Reach for the remainder of the period.

How do I cancel my Reach account?

We’ll be sad to see you go but here are the steps to cancel you Reach account.

  • Go to billing in the app
  • Go to the bottom of the page and click cancel subscription
  • If you manage your account through apple, you need to go to settings : iCloud : subscriptions & cancel there

I already have a number but I want to port it.

Porting your phone number to Reach. All you need to know:

To get started, we need two things:

  • Proof of ownership of the number (a bill will work, or screenshot of your dashboard)
  • Filling out and signing and authorization form. We will send you a copy so you can sign digitally.

How long does it take to port a number?

It depends on the carrier but we’ve seen 3 days up to 2 weeks. There’s no service interruption. But don’t cancel your account or shut off your service until it’s fully complete.

Using Reach Phone

How does Reach work with my contacts?

Currently you have two options with Reach for contacts:

  • Sync with your device. All of your existing device contacts will be imported into Reach
  • Keep your device contacts separate. You can add contacts manually via the contacts page

How do I setup my Business Hours?

Sometimes you want to turn work off. We’ve got you covered. To setup your business hours follow these steps below:

  1. Go to settings : business hours
  2. Choose the day that you want
  3. Pick a start and end time
  4. Be sure to set all of the days

Tip 1: If you want to take an entire day off, just mark it off.

Tip 2: The default state is the entire day is open (12-12)

How do I setup my Auto Replies?

Turning work off is great. But if you don’t want to leave your customers hanging setup auto responses. Here’s how:

  1. Go to settings : business hours
  2. Choose auto replies at the bottom of the screen

Here you can setup Auto Replies for:

  • Missed calls during open hours
  • Received texts after hours
  • Missed calls after hours

Tip 1: Be sure to give your auto response template a name so you can recognize it when selecting for each day.

Tip 2: You need to select auto responses for each day that you want to send

How do I record a voicemail greeting?

Want to look professional to your clients? Record a business voicemail greeting. Here’s how:

  1. Go to voicemail : greeting
  2. Hit the +
  3. Give your voicemail a name
  4. Record your voicemail
  5. Set it to default

Tip 1: You can record multiple greetings for after hours or vacation

Tip 2: To edit your greeting after hours go to business hours, auto replies

How do I add an Away Message?

Just like the good old days of AIM with a professional twist. We have auto responses for email. Reach has added this for your mobile phone. Here’s how you add an away message:

  1. Tap your status indicator in the top left
  2. Customize the message for your away message
  3. Enable auto reply
  4. Set a timer if you like
  5. That’s it

Your phone will now be in do not disturb mode and we will auto reply with your away message.

Tip: The status of you Reach phone will always be displayed in the top left

What is my Reach Status indicator?

You can quickly see what mode your Reach phone is in. Here are the 3 options below:

  • Open - this means calls and texts will work as normal
  • Closed - your phone is in do not disturb mode. If you have setup auto replies, we will send them to incoming calls and texts automatically.
  • Away - your phone is in do not disturb mode. We will reply with your customized away message (this takes precedent over business hours)

How does Reach calling work?

Reach calls through the internet. Dial a number or contact and you call directly through the Reach interface. Incoming calls show up differently than normal calls so you can answer appropriately. You will always know when someone is calling your Reach number.

Does it use my minutes from my phone plan?

Reach uses your cellular data plan or wifi. As long as you have an internet connection, you can use Reach. This applies if you’re out of the country as well.

How is the call quality?

We take call quality seriously. Your call quality depends on the strength of your internet connection. If your internet connection is strong, you’re HD calling experience will be great.

What countries is Reach available in?

Currently Reach is available in the US and Canada. If you travel out of the country, as long as you have a data connection or WIFI, you will receive Reach calls and texts.
